The Baskerville Arms Hotel Welcomes You
Though restrictions have eased, sadly the recruitment crisis engulfing the hospitality arena has hit us hard and required us to make some tough decisions for 2021 and beyond. We are not able to operate our bar and restaurant but have decided to turn necessity into a virtue and move ahead in a positive fashion and now operate as a bed and breakfast hotel, with a few twists.
Fully refurbished, the hotel has eleven, tastefully furnished en-suite bedrooms. We provide substantial breakfasts, taken around a large, eighteen seat dining table or for those with pets, in our bar if preferred.
We are also proving a popular choice as a private venue for dining, special gatherings or events and can provide simple suppers or more elaborate meals for guests if arranged beforehand.
IIt means things will be a little quieter here, which although different from normal will hopefully be seen as a positive. . We have posted a few pictures in the gallery and we will continue to update and add things
Please call or email us for further details and we look forward to welcoming guests once more.

About The Baskerville Arms Hotel
Welcome to a family run Inn in Clyro, just over one mile from Hay-on-Wye.
Over the last year we have been refurbishing most of this old building, originally from around 1810 with later extensions and additions. Ultimately there will be eleven new, en-suite rooms, a beamed bar and 60 seat restaurant, a function room capable of hosting up to 120, a private dining room and a smaller area for meetings or just quiet drinks.
Using us as a base, you can spend a day ambling round the stores, bookshops and cafes in Hay. Or what about, kayaking, wild swimming or experiencing some of the best fishing the country has to offer just a walk away. There's also cycling, pony trekking and rambling across wonderful countryside on moorland or in the Brecon Beacons. How about stunning Hereford Cathedral and its Mappa Mundi or the beautiful Elan Valley, Offa's Dyke and the majestic Welsh countryside beyond?
Whatever you choose, there's room for everything amongst our stunning Welsh Marches.
