Walking - Groups

We can help to arrange walking break holidays in the immediate area with or without walk guides. Transport to/from your start/end points can also be arranged. For the more strenuous trip, Mountain Leaders (ML's) can be booked to show you parts of the Beacons not seen by the faint-hearted!

Please note that this service is for groups of 10 or more people staying with us on a dinner, bed & breakfast basis.

Larger groups that can stay mid-week will receive additional discounts!  Prices start at £30 pppn for Dinner, bed & breakfast depending on group size. Please phone to discuss or make an enquiry.

Walking - couples & smaller groups

For those that just want to see the area on foot, we can supply several routes in the area  - from the not-so-strenous to a little bit more! Again, midweek discounts for all walkers and 10% off accommodation for those with a Ramblers Association membership card!

Horse Riding

FreeRein Riding Holidays cater for 2-7 day riding breaks for almost all skill levels.  We are within walking distance of FreeRein HQ and form a natural stopover before and after your riding break.  Why not drop the kids off for 2 days riding and indulge yourselves here!

Alternatively, if 2 days on a horse might be too much of a pain in the nether regions (!), we can book a half day or full day riding at other local riding stables.

Cycling

Would you like to see the area on a road or mountain bike?   Drover Holidays will deliver bikes  - to your specification - to the Inn ready for your trip!  They can even supply bike trailers for those little people not quite ready for the open road!  Over night lockup at the Inn provided for multiple day adventures!  10% discount on bike hire if we book your bicycles for you!

Canoeing

Love water sports?  We can arrange a half or full day's canoeing for you and your partner or family. Simply pick up your canoes from Wye Valley Canoes a few miles away, and canoe to your hearts content. At the end-point down-stream on the beautiful Wye River, you will be picked up and returned to your car.  Mid-week discounts available!
